Abstract
Money, and more specifically, value, is going through a transformation of epic proportions. The culprit? Blockchain. Join Keegan in a discussion about the evolution of value. Keegan will give you the fundamental knowledge on which blockchain is built, as well as answer some of the burning questions that fills your mind when you hear "Bitcoin". Keegan will demo transactions on a number of different well known Blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and BitShares.
About the Presenter
Keegan is a software engineer with a focus and enthusiasm for radically transformative technologies. Keegan was born and raised in Nova Scotia and is an alumnus of Acadia University. Keegan now resides in Halifax, giving his time to various projects and codebases. Keegan likes to rock climb, and play piano in his free time, a creative outlet is integral for maximal meaning and productivity.
