Ethereum: More than Just a Cryptocurrency
Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency however, looking at it as just a cryptocurrency misses what makes Ethereum truly special and revolutionary. Ethereum is a platform that allows anyone to develop and run decentralized applications on the Ethereum Virtual Machine. This talk will give you an overview of Ethereum as a platform before diving into the available tools and resources to help you start your journey developing in the Ethereum ecosystem.
About the Presenter
Jeremy Sheehy is an Acadia graduate who has immersed himself in the Nova Scotia startup scene. Since graduating he has worked at a number of Ethereum based startups and recently had the opportunity to attend the Consensys Ventures Tachyon accelerator in San Francisco.
