CS Seminar
Pat d’Entremont, a Computer Science graduate from Acadia University, will talk about computing from a historical perspective, beginning with the early days of the punched card machines he was using at Acadia, through to the latest technologies students can get excited about. Pat will daw extensively from his nearly 40-year career in Information Technology and talk about how the industry evolved with each wave of new technology. He will tell his story of entrepreneurship and technology, and hope some students will be inspired to ask questions and consider a similar career path.
