NS Open Data Competition at Dalhousie University
Acadia sent four teams to the NS Open Data Competition at Dalhousie University on March 3. All participants learned a lot and represented the university well. The team of Ryan Gorringe, Keara Leibovitz, and Yuanyuan (Amanda) Shi came in 3rd out of 14 teams (see attached photo). The presentation was made by the Honarable Patricia Arab, Minister of Internal Services. Given that all of participates have just started their studies in Data Analytics and Machine Learning, they did very well.
